Welcome

Welcome to the Interventional Services Wiki Project. This project was born from the need to track physician preferences for a busy, complex structural heart lab. The wiki is designed to run on a modified version of MediaWiki, the open-source software that runs the biggest wiki on the internet, Wikipedia. For more information on the origins of the project, and the special functions, read the whitepaper.

Developer Notes

In my experience, adoption of this site will primarily be physician-driven. Hospital administration isn't going to want to put this behind the firewall. If your facility already uses AWS for their IT needs, then you have a chance to have them spin up a small instance and run this, good luck.

If the physicians group is interested, my preferred strategy is to have the physicians set up the AWS account. And then either register a domain name, or use a sub-domain off of their business domain.

When this was created, it was for a complex structural heart department. So a lot of the templates reflect that. IR, vascular, and EP templates will be incorporated in the near future.
